Refractories for Copper Based Alloys

The ceral pouring ladle , tundish, launder, basin etc. is used to transfer molten aluminium and copper based alloys. the ms shell of the above refractory shape is lined with a high alumina refractory material and  sintered at high temperature. This lining material is a high strength chemical bonded ceramic material. it has good insulating property which reduces the heat loss of the  metal alongwith it’s insulating property it is also non-wetting to molten  metal thus reducing the metal loss.

The life of  ceral lining ranges from 3 months to 1 year depending upon the metal to be transferred.

The ladle can be made from the capacity of 50kg to 1000kg.The capacity of other shapes will be as per customers drawing.
