Product

It is very handy degassing technique by using perfectly compressed tablets of chemical powder (mainly Hexachloroethane). This compaction is very important to control the rate of tablet dissolution, which ultimately leads to proper release of chlorine gas for degassing.

Product Features

  • D’Gasser-20 is a compacted tablet available in 50gms, 100gms, 250gms & 500 gms for treatment of any size of melt.
  • Chlorine gas is evolved only after decomposition of tablet in the melt, so there is no question of hazardous free chlorine while in storage.

Application Rate

  • Normally 0.10 to 0.20% by weight of molten metal for all grades.

Packing

  • 20 Kg C.B. box
