Product

It is very handy degassing technique by using perfectly compressed tablets of chemical powder (mainly hexachloroethane). This compaction is very important to control the rate of tablet dissolution, which ultimately leads to proper release of chlorine gas for degassing.

Product Features

  • D’Gasser-20A is a compacted tablet available in of 50 gms & 500 gms for treatment of any size of melt.
  • Chlorine gas is evolved only after decomposition of tablet in the melt, so there is no question of hazardous free chlorine while in storage.

Application Rate

  • Normally 0.10 to 0.20% by weight of molten metal for all grades.

Standard Packing

  • 20 Kg C box

Shelf Life

  • 12 months from date of manufacturing in closed packing kept in cool and dry place.

IMPORTANT: Store the product in cool and dry place and unpack as per requirement.
