DIEDRESS – MS is Titanium oxide, micronized graphite and naphthalenic oil base dressing recommended for M.S.Tools, M.S. Spoons, M.S. Pouring ladles of GDC and PDC etc. used in Aluminium Industries for Transfer of Molten Aluminium and its alloys.

Function

DIEDRESS – MS is a Titanium oxide and micronized graphite filler base dressing providing conducting properties to the liquid metal which ensures thorough curing of dressing due to heat transfer phenomenon. The Thermal stability of the base filler gives longer life for M.S. Tools.

Advantages of this dressing are as follows

• Extended life of M.S.Tools
• Reduces chances of Iron Pick-up
• Reduces breakdown time
• Non-wetting to Molten Aluminium and its alloys

Preheat the M.S. Tools to around 80 – 90°C. Apply DIEDRESS-MS as it is by brush or swab, Ensure uniform coating on the tool. Heat slowly up to 600 C by portable burner or preheat initially near the furnace and then dip in Molten Aluminium for ensuring strongly adhere coating before continuous use. (Colour of coating will change from blackish brown to faint yellow)
